I'm dried out of ideas despite the oh-so-many sketches and samples for inspiration.
Yea I know 'artist block' is a common virus attacking us the 'artists'.
I wanted to make something unique and special for my special friends (special here does not refer to OKU) but these were all my creative mind can think of *sigh*
happy birthday dear sis Mariah (alHajjah)

have typed this n3 earlier, suddenly *boom* the line is out and I lost it Hate it when those things happened. End of story.
And this is inspired from random chaos #52
the letter R is actually a P with the upper ear of a ? for the tail. Paste the letters on acetate and secure it with a brad so it can be moved to see the hidden journal behind the pic.

I like the back of this pp, and thought it such a waste if I dont use it. So I cut the mid section, turn it and stick it for the journal thingy. the journal is about the process of Humayra getting READY for her ugama school.

paper used:dream street papers (Hugs-n-kisses-care package), fancypants (cards) embellish: alphabets Thickers and transparent accent (fruit) from American Craft, mushrooms n worm (?)

I enjoy trying sketches from creatively yours, which I printed and keep in a file. Well, my scrapping time depends on my mood and my workload. So I only scrap in my free time, and sometimes when I feel the need to get away from my routine.
this is an interesting sketch by Ali

and this is my interpretation of Ali's sketch #10.

I sprayed the paper with velvet mist and tried many matching papers and accents. Something is not right, thats what I think and what my sis says. At the end this is what happen.
The foam alphabets was pink and I dont have black, so I dabbed my starlite black ink on it. Finally I dabbed the ink on the paper because it looks too plain. Now that its finished I think it looks a lil bit messy *sigh*

this is another example of a ciput budget. I only used a piece of paper. The trick is to choose a pattern paper that is beautiful by itself.
I keep the layout simple and used rub-on and stamp to accentuate the look.

- reben hadiah
- kertas pembalut yang menarik
- kelopak bunga hiasan
- dan banyak lagi
Jadi inilah dia cabaran 'scrapbook under B$5'.
- cardstock biru dan merah jambu B$1.20/keping =$2.40
- Kertas corak (pattern paper). Pilih '2 sided' untuk menambah warna $1.90
- reben B$0.65 sekaki
jumlah semua: B$4.95

boleh buat 1 scrapbook 12x12 dan 1 kad 6x6

Scrapbook:
-
Gunakan cardstock merah jambu sebagai asas.
-
-
Gunting kertas corak mengikut bunga
-

eh?! mana reben aku? la... tak perasan reben dah ilang hahahaha...
inilah hasilnya

Nota;
'Good luck' mmwaaaaaaaaah

I enjoyed using chalk. It adds character to plain paper. Playing artist is so much fun. My 7 year old daughter was so excited, together we made this project.
I stamp the doodle with emboss ink, and Adik dab the chalk on it.
this is an album project for sinahbisc. bakery. the album is 90% finished. It takes time to finish cos I did it while I was busy doing my 'real' work.
